This is a picture of the Japanese American National Museum with a few students and Mr.Garcia in front of it.

This is some of the unique ways of displaying food from the Multi level Resturants in Weller Court.

These are a few of the items that I saw at the Markai Market.

The books store was surounded by a few other shops Marukai Market it was also near a japanese garden in Kyoto Grand Hotel.

Their were different typs of items that were interesting at Mikawaya but i found these to be the most eye catching.
At the Fugetsudo their are many strange items for sale, well strange to me anyway they looked very different that food I normally see. These are a few of their products.

This statue was very odd i didn't understand why it was their , it must have been important if it was accumulated into a Japanese assignment but it just seemed like a random statue it turned out that this statue was dedicated to Issei pioneers with the following written on it. (my apologies if the quote is not accurate.)
"Through self-education, strenuous labor and dedication he succeeded in restoring the barren farm land of his family. He taught agricultural techniques, business management, and mutual aid to the people of Japan. Hotoku was the basis of the spiritual movement founded by Sontuko. The statue is dedicated to the Issei pioneers."

At this restaurant their was an odd looking dumpling that seems to be served in a few different ways.

It was unfortunate that we were unable to make it to the cafe but the food seems to be different than what i am use to. I manly found pictures of a different looking bread that is in the picture on the left, it was filled with a dark red filling that i dont recognize.

Unfortunatly we were un able to make it to this garden and resturant but by the look of the photos ive seen it seems to be a nice place to see.

The Buddhist temple seems to be a great piece of architecture. It is finely detailed in many places as well.

This garden was very interesting and complex it seemed so natural in the way it was aranged.

At this monument their was not many building closed in around it but their was an american flag in the center of the monument and a symbol in the frount.

At the Ellison Onizuka Monument the plak was still their but it seems that the monument had been removed.
